Typical tasks

  • Designing and implementing integrations between ITSM and observability tools for effective monitoring.
  • Creating and optimizing data flows between various systems in the ITSM ecosystem.
  • Configuring API integrations for seamless data exchange between systems without downtime.
  • Implementing monitoring solutions for tracking and analyzing the performance of IT services.
  • Coordinating with teams to integrate various tools into comprehensive ITSM solutions.
  • Conducting testing and validation of integrations to ensure high quality and stability.
  • Optimizing workflow processes across platforms to minimize service outages.
  • Managing and maintaining integration interfaces to ensure consistent operation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the alignment of integration projects with the organization’s security and operational standards.
  • Collaboration with business and IT teams to provide appropriate integration solutions.
  • Regular reporting on the status of integrations and monitoring key performance metrics.
  • Identification and management of risks associated with the deployment of integration solutions in ITSM systems.
  • Resolution of escalated technical issues related to non-functional integrations between systems.
  • Planning long-term strategies for tool integration based on the organization’s needs.
  • Creation and maintenance of integration documentation.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of API integration and RESTful services for complex data flows.
  • Ability to design and maintain integration architecture for ITSM and observability tools.
  • Experience with orchestration and monitoring tools such as Kubernetes and Prometheus.
  • Advanced skills in database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Ability to write and optimize scripts in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
  • Experience with middleware tools for integration, such as MuleSoft or Apache Kafka.
  • Working with cloud services and tools (AWS, Azure) for integration solutions.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance when integrating sensitive systems.
